'Letters from the Global South'

All Saints Church in Earls Barton are hosting a free pop-up travelling exhibition about climate change, 'Letters from the Global South'

Exhibition Dates: 7th -10th June (including a family-friendly wildlife activities weekend on 7th & 8th)

Times: 10am - 4pm (Sunday 8th 12-4pm)

About the Exhibition:

‘Letters from the global South’ is a pop-up travelling exhibition that aims to introduce a general audience to the science behind the Climare & Nature (CAN) bill and its principles of international fairness in a visual practical and accessible way. It was specifically designed to engage people who have never participated in climate and environmental campaigns.

The posters featured in the exhibition blend real life accounts, images and letters related to climate change and the destruction of nature sent to us by mainly children and young people living in those communities that are particularly vulnerable to climate and ecological crisis. The exhibition also offers illustrated explanations of climate change and the crucial role that nature plays in addressing it.

The curators of the exhibition suggest it is suitable for Year 5 through to adults.
