Welcome Team
Who we are.
Here at All Saints Earls Barton, we have a wonderfully diverse team of people, who exude warmth and kindness when welcoming both new and old faces into our church for all our services. Featured on the south side of our church’s chancel is a beautifully crafted stained glass window, with an inscription that reads ‘I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God’. Amen! These words, so eloquently recorded for Frank Stuart, a verger for All Saints for fifty years, are as relevant now as they were when first written. Being a welcomer is not merely about offering a smile to passers by, but an opportunity to practice and embody our Lord’s kindness and compassion for others. And as such, when our Lord Jesus says in Matthew 25:35 ‘I was a stranger and you took Me in’ so too do we welcome all into our family.
What we do.
As our church’s Welcome Team, we enjoy not only greeting visitors with a warm smile, but guiding, informing and accommodating all who seek the presence of our Lord from start to finish of your visit. Whether you are wanting to attend one of our Sunday services or other services, get some information about our church family and what else we get up to or even learn more about our historic Saxon Tower, we have you covered!
